Great Lakes Hockey teaches kids the importance of what it takes on the ice and away from the rink. Jared is a proven leader and dedicated individual that knows what makes a player succeed level after level in all aspects of hockey.

Our head instructor brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion for the game of hockey. Growing up in Cheboygan, Michigan, Jared first fell in love with the game by playing in the cities outdoor rink. He began playing house league hockey all the way until the age of 15, when he left home and went on to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, with hopes to improve his game and someday play college hockey.

Growing up in the warmth of Southern California, GLH instructor, Scooter Vaughan, is no stranger to putting in the work in the cold. Playing for stickhanding camp guru, Jeff Turcotte and the California Wave, Scooter refined his skills which lead to him earning a spot with Jon Cooper(Tampa Bay Lightning Head Coach) and the St. Louis Bandits, where he played his Jr. career.

We are very fortunate to have someone with Mikes credentials join the GLH staff. Growing up in Detroit, Mike has had quite the journey throughout his career. Winning seems to follow Leone with multiple championships including at the Junior level and a CCHA title with the Broncos at Western Michigan in 2012.
